How it works…
Step one: to start the process, either fill out the email inquiry form on our “contact us” page, send us an email to instaboatlanai@gmail.com, or give us a call or text at 808-556-6990. In the email include your name, phone number, physical address, and what you are looking to have delivered.
Step two: After your inquiry you will receive an email, a text, or a call with more instructions on how to complete your order and answers to any questions you might have.
Step three: You send us your grocery list for the week with as much detail as possible, including preferred stores. Your list must be received two days before the desired delivery date.
Step four: One of our in-house shoppers will hand-pick all of your desired items from the desired stores and store it for delivery. We ensure that produce is shopped for within 24 hours of delivery to maximize freshness. We make sure to get each item you request, no substitutes will be purchased without direct communication with you.
Step five: Your items are loaded into cooler bags and totes and brought from Maui to Lana’i on our vessel. You will receive confirmation the morning of delivery with an estimated time of delivery. We do offer home delivery if you have work or otherwise cannot get down to the harbor for pick up. Just let us know if this is an option you’re interested in!
Step six: You will be sent and invoice with photos of receipts and individualized 30% shopping fee. Payment is due within 4 days of receiving your invoice, and is accepted through Venmo, PayPal, Applepay, cash or check.
Step seven: For future deliveries you will receive a weekly check-in about putting in an order for the upcoming week. We look forward to working with you!
